saturday {show 'n tell}

i did more reading than writing this week, and i came across some Really. Good. Stuff. perfect for show 'n tell :)

It's Only Been About One Person cut to my heart, and yes i cried, because it's true that sometimes, deep down, i am very, very scared.

My Man is No Prince Charming he's more. and i pray wives every where will read this and rethink and redefine what makes a man a "prince."

2 Incredible Parenting Books that i put on my to-read-ASAP list for encouragement, wisdom, and conviction.

She Did What She Could and it is enough. i needed this when i was worn out and feeling guilty about it.

Working In a Workout is SO worth it! "physical training is good" for us to take care of ourselves so we can serve the Lord and our families with energy!

Dear Chick-Fil-A, I Just Want To Eat More Chicken Jessica wrote it as i was thinking it. i am completely baffled at how many "Christians" think eating at a fast-food restaurant on a certain day is an effective way of taking a stand on a biblical issue. i love Chick-Fil-A regardless of the CEO's beliefs. i love my neighbors regardless of their beliefs. if they don't know Jesus, i pray for them! this whole thing is going to turn people away from "eating more chicken," and i pray it doesn't turn more people away from God.

Fun Ways to Connect Over Meals practical ideas for making mealtime special, because i cherish our conversations and distraction-free time together over yummy food.

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.
Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son
as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
