this week's menu {a very special week}

me & hubs, 4th of July 2008, 4 days before Bubba was born 
someone VERY special is turning 3 this week. my Bubba! can you believe it? i'm in a little bit of denial that it was three years ago that my precious son was born. he was 10 days past his due date (feel sorry for me) and i was in labor for 24 hours on pitocin with no epidural (give me a medal) but he was totally worth the wait. my summer boy, my rough-and-tumble bruiser, my little warrior. i love my Bubba.

we are celebrating BIG! we are surprising him with a trip to the waterpark followed by a Toy Story themed birthday party with family. yeah, i know he probably won't remember this birthday celebration years from now. but i will.

monday: steaks, homemade potato salad, baked beans
tuesday: pasta salad with garlic toast
wednesday: Tex-Mex chicken foil pack, salad
thursday: birthday eve dinner out
friday: Papa Murphy's take-and-bake pizza
