God is at work in my life. He is answering prayers, leading me to open doors, gently closing others, directing my path and crossing it with new friends. my heart is open, my eyes are open. i am alert and in prayer and quiet and still. i want to be used for Him.

- Heather at Not A DIY Life, one of the first blogs i ever followed, featured me as a Guest in her series on eating disorders. i was honored to be included in the series because i love telling my story of redemption. it's only by the grace of God that i am not the mess i once was. you can read my story and the others in her series at www.NotADIYLife.com.
- yall know i do some digital graphic design work a little bit here and there right? birthday and wedding invitations, baby announcements, thank you notes..that sort of thing. but also logo design, business card design, and design work for other marketing materials. most recently i had the pleasure of working with my sweet friend Meghan at The Tuckers Take Tennessee on her business cards. they turned out just gorgeous and i'm so happy that she loves them! digital design for paper media is my favorite, and i thank God for giving me opportunities to do more of it.
- earlier this month, God answered one of my long time prayers and provided a home for Gorbella's! while at the same time answering a prayer of a local coffee shop owner! every Monday from 10-11:30am, a local coffee shop is host to Gorbella's! we come in and take over the place with storytime, crafts, sing songs, and free play. while we're there, the moms drink lots of coffee (and Boba tea), the kids munch on blueberry muffins, and everyone has a fun morning outing. it's amazing to see what God has been working on behind the scenes all these years finally come to fruition. just amazing!
- DevotionMama, one of my favorite friends, and i have started a local group for DFW Christian Mom Bloggers! MamasWrite, a support ministry of sorts, is an unashamedly Biblical meet-up group to create a sense of community, encourage and inspire fellow Mom Bloggers to use our voices for Christ, to share our knowledge and to nurture friendships. we plan to meet monthly and even host mini-conferences. way fun. if you are a Christian Mom in the DFW area and you blog or have a desire to blog, please join us!
- a week from today {April 1st already yall!} i will be the guest on Will Blog For Kids Blog Talk Radio Program! WHAT!? this is not an April Fools joke. my tea time friend Michelle @ SomeGirlsWebsite invited me {my blog} to be featured on the Red River Radio program about the world of blogging for or about children, which airs on the first Friday of every month at 11am CST. i think i'm most excited about reaching a new audience who hasn't yet found my blog. what an amazing opportunity right? thanks, Michelle!
- some of yall have asked about my Project 365. while i am still making the effort to snap at least one photo daily, i decided not to take the time to edit and watermark and publish them weekly like i was. that process was time consuming. the less time i can be sitting in front of the computer the better, and so Project 365 was cut from the blog.
- a move is in our near future. we're just going an hour or so north, closer to my husband's work so that he can be home for family dinners again. i am still praying for the family who is looking for their new home, that God would direct them to this address. and i am praying that in our search, we are led to our future home as if it was the brightest star in the Texas-wide, dark, night sky. will you pray with us? in the meantime i am a busy bee prepping our home for showings.
