favorite things: Runway Seven

it was completely random, as these kinds of opportunities tend to be. and then they become stories we tell our friends and even strangers. and it is good.

once upon a time, we were on our way to Grandma's house, literally on the highway in the middle of Small Town, Texas, when an invitation to shop Runway Seven's new arrivals landed in my lap.

i follow Runway Seven on instagram because -this might sound shallow but- they are always posting super cute outfits that inspire me to be more creative/fun/trendy with my clothes. so when i got the invitation to visit the Runway Seven location just down the street from Grandma's house, as we were on our way to Grandma's house and i needed something to wear for a special event we were attending that weekend, i obviously RSVP'd yes.

Runway Seven has clothes, jewelry, shoes, and accessories. i liked that the store is small like a boutique, not too overwhelming at all. their prices are comparable, they carry quality brands, and there were 2 sales racks with huge markdowns! my husband's grandma, Nini, is a SHOPPER if you know what i mean, and she gladly accompanied me to Runway Seven. we had a total blast. Nini picked out clothes and brought them to the dressing room and every time i came out she ooooh'd and aaahhh'd and made me feel like a million bucks. the store manager, Alyssa, was incredibly sweet and not at all pushy or salesy. the whole experience was wonderful. Runway Seven is now one of my favorites.

i snapped these photos to text to my girl Rox to get her approval and also to call me out for being a complete dork in the dressing room. i can count on her for that.

i loved everything that i tried on, but these were my FAVORITES:
// the turquoise floral sun dress is the perfect length and has a fun strappy back! so light and frilly and girly. so me!
// the pretty white top is a little more dressy than my every day tanktop but not too dressy and i love it for those reasons. you're so humble, pretty white top.
// the chambray babydoll dress/top is way cute- it has pockets!- and although it's too short to wear as a dress, i have shorts on underneath and i felt like it worked. the back of this one has a big floppy bow!

it was completely random but what a fun experience! and now i'm telling all my friends and strangers about my new favorite :) have you ever shopped Runway Seven? check it out if you ever get the chance! happy shopping!
