word of God speak

i'm finding myself at a loss for words. and the funny thing is it's okay. the last thing i need is to be heard, but to hear what You would say.

Word of God speak. would You pour down like rain washing my eyes to see Your majesty? to be still and know that You're in this place. please let me stay and rest in Your holiness.

i'm finding myself in the midst of You, beyond the music, beyond the noise. all that i need is to be with You, and in the quiet hear Your voice.

Word of God speak. would You pour down like rain? wash my eyes to see Your majesty! to be still and know that You're in this place. please let me stay and rest in Your holiness.

don't you just love that song? i was washing dishes the other day and it came on the radio and i couldn't help but stop, close my eyes, and surrender to worship. word of God speak, i pray. i'm here, i'm alert, and i'm listening. speak to me for the Declare Conference, for The Seed Company, for my friends, for my family, and for my life. sometimes we just need to stop for a minute so we can hear the Word of God speak.

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. -Hebrews 4:12

The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever. -Isaiah 40:8

Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" -Matthew 4:4
